Project Description
Team Size : 6 people
Project duration : 15 weeks
Latency is small scope symmetrical RTS (real-time stragegy) game playable in split-screen coop on controller in which two players confont themselves to capture zones that will lead to the extinction of the opposed player's alien colony.
My Role
In this project, I was mainly in charge of programming the artificial intelligence of the various troops as well as the minimap.
The AI was particularly challenging, as it was the first time I had to program agents to work in group, and the amount of agents itself started to become a performance problem.
